MacOS natively interprets holding shift while scrolling as horizontal scrolling, which Minecraft (since 1.13) doesn't pick up. This causes issues with some blocks such as the Flex Crate.

This is actually an issue with forge. This needs testing on the latest version of forge however. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/shift-n-scroll-on-mac This should fix the issue in the meantime.
