Having to change the length of a belt by 1 or 2 blocks is a common thing I have experienced and it is always a pain to do, because all the tunnel and shafts attached to it have to be replaced & reconfigured.

It would be very helpful if there was the possibility to change the length of a belt without having to break and than replace it.
