I've been thinking, and I feel like I have a few solid ideas that could really add something cool to this already cool mod:

Arc Torch
The Arc Torch is an attachment for a Mechanical Arm which, similarly to the Mechanical Saw doing woodcutting recipes, can do stonecutting recipes, as well as weld sheets back into ingots. One downside is that if you look too directly at the arc without wearing Tinted Goggles, it gives the Blindness effect for 30 seconds.

Tinted Goggles
Tinted Goggles are similar to regular Goggles, except they don't tell you stress units or speed, but instead they darken your vision to protect you from Arc Torch induced Blindness. They can also protect you from Potions of Blindness, as well as any other source of Blindness.

Oil
Oil is a fluid found deep underground in reservoirs, and you can collect it in a Bucket just like any other fluid. It is a limited fluid similar to Lava, meaning you can't make an infinite Oil source. It is also flammable. You can craft 8 Bottles of Oil with one Bucket of Oil and 8 Bottles. Bottles of Oil can be applied to Gears and other machinery to decrease the stress it has on the system.

Rubber / Redstone Cables
Rubber is made by compacting Oil and a block of Jungle Leaves in a Basin. It can be used to craft Redstone Cables, which is a form of Redstone wiring which can be free-standing as well as waterproof, and can connect in all 6 directions.

Contact Lock
Like a reverse of the existing Redstone Contacts, motion is halted when two Contact Locks meet, until disabled with a Redstone signal.

Upon further consideration, I've figured out that only three of these ideas would fit: Oil, Rubber and Redstone Cable. I realized that the Mechanical Saw can also do stonecutting recipes, which makes the Arc Torch obsolete, unless they introduce some more advanced stuff you would need it for. With the Arc Torch's obsolescence follows the Tinted Goggles. Also, the Contact Lock idea can be achieved with a Redstone Contact wired to a Clutch, like so:

You pull the Lever to disable the Clutch, and it will continue turning until it comes back around to the Redstone Contact and the Lever is off.
