Comparator on fluid tank not updating redstone signal

Hello, I really enjoy the Create mod, and it's probably my favorite mod of all time!
That said,
I am trying to be efficient with my powergrid/stressgrid and am trying to shut down my lava generator when my fluid tank is full, and I discovered that the tank works with comparators, emitting a redstone signal depending on the fluid level in the tank, but my issue is that, the redstone strength does not update automatically when the tank fills up, unless a block adjacent to the comparator is updated.
So my current workaround is to use a redstone clock to update the comparator every minute, but it just seems crude and it's a bit chunky.
I hope - if this is not an actual feature - that this issue will be fixed at some point.
