Issue:

• Using a deforester on a dynamic tree produces one log
• Destroying a dynamic tree with a mechanical drill or saw yields no drops

Expected behavior:

• Breaking a dynamic tree by the above means would provide the same drops as if destroyed by a player

Sorry to get in here in to this old issue. I have the exact same behaviour as in the OP's video where the saw breaks the tree without dropping anything.

Using the deployer with an axe works fine though.

I have only Create and Dynamic Trees installed:

• Create 0.5.0
• Dynamic Trees 0.11.0-Alpha2

Should I open a new issue for this?

Try to see what happens if you instead use mechanical hands (with an axe) to chop it down. On a moving contraption I have no idea yet how to collect the props or make it stop to chop.
