Allowing a process to occur out of the loop sequence would be useful as a sort of finishing step, such as spouting in liquid or applying a second machine case component, or many other similar scenarios where it makes sense to have a final finishing up step.

As a workaround you could have the loop output a different unfinished item, then add a recipe to turn that unfinished item into the finished item separately.
