Many players really miss it, so why not add it back? Also maybe make it depending on pressure, the blocks are supposedly pushed out of it, so you have to use the Copper Tank.

You can find the blockzapper behaviour in the worldshaper brushes. The feature was simply not fit for survival mode in the experience Create wants to deliver now.
Chances are some of their functionality will return in a different form, but for the moment we are not interested in maintaining, porting and fixing a feature we do not endorse.
For alternatives check out building gadgets or builders wands. Much more refined and powerful tools for your convenience 👍
