I'd love a way to attach rope to the under side of Mechanical belts, rope could hold onto items (or maybe even animals like a lead?)

When the rope gets on top of the mechanical belt it would disappear until going back under the belt, items could stay on the belt or would fall down if there was a block in the way of going up. Rope could grab items on the floor

I just think mechanical belts are really neat aesthetically and would like to see my factory's items move around more noticeably in my base without blocking the way, but with some added functionality too.
