Shader-induced highlighted 'selected block' texture glitch

When using shaders (via optifine and forge) with the 1.14 version of this mod the 'selected blocks' highlight effect (that indicates the blocks within range of a radial and linear chassis, when hovering over their scroll menu with a wrench) uses an incorrect texture.
Rather than the expected glowing, flat translucent yellow texture instead the shown texture is glowing, yellow, and appears to be a the default texture sheet (the fire icons are even animated). See appearance as pictured below. Note that I have tested this to the same result on two different shaderpacks.
