Server says incomplete tags and it is only the create mod that does this even flywheel without the create mod works and it doesent say anything in the logs

make sure create is on the client and server. flywheel is just a rendering engine, it doesn't have any tags to register

Yes i am sure i only have Create flywheel and jei i have tested all the mods and the one that creates the tags is create

Then how do i start forge ive tried with minecraft_server.1.16.5.jar and custom.jar the server starts but it says incomplete tags and when i remove all mods it works

is your console in green, yellow, red? Or just plain white, if white, the server runs vanilla
The minecraft_server.1.16.5.jar does not work (if its the vanilla one)

And i can join with vanilla 1.16.5 so i think its vanilla but then how do i install forge because ive watched many tutorials and they didnt work

Make sure when launching the server to run the forge-1.16.5.jar, not the server.jar
