[1.18] Contraptions crash the player when interacted with below y = 0; Rope pulley won't extend below y = 0

Contraptions can be built and started below y = 0, but updating the bearing crashes the player.
Also, a rope pulley stops extending when it reaches y = 0.
The former does seem to be a Flywheel issue, but thought they might be related to each other.

Hello, I'm unable to reproduce part of this issue. I can't get the game to crash when creating/updating the bearing of contraptions below Y 0. Hello, I'm struggling to reproduce part of this issue. Could you please give me a more detailed description of what you did to cause a crash. Thanks!
