[1.18.1] Cart assembler crash

Put down a rail. Add a Cart assembler on top. Put a minecart in the Cart Assembler.
Add a chest on top. Add a lever and lift it up. MC crash. not able to open this world any more.
Does this happen under y0?
do you have optifine?
(also try /flywheel backend off into chat)
