Describe the Suggestion

Would it be possible to allow for a flat x,z array of mechanical crafters with the "front" facing up? I had a cool idea for a flat setup with mechanical arms inserting items from above.

The pack I would be using it in would be using Extended Crafting and 9x9 recipes and such

+1, it makes no sense that we cannot make horizontal mechanical crafter. Even the block model for the mechanical crafter is lying down, insinuating that it is possible.
