Describe the Bug

I keep getting this error when I try to join the LAN server.

Reproduction Steps

I am using:

• create-mc1.18.1_v0.4b
• flywheel-forge-1.18-0.5.0a
• InventoryProfilesNext-forge-1.18-1.2.3
• jei-1.18.1-9.1.1.48
• OptiFine_1.18.1_HD_U_H4
• forge-1.18.1-39.0.9-installer

1. Have one person load the game with these mods and open a world to LAN.
2. Have person 2 try to join world. Error should occur.

Expected Result

I should be able to join a LAN server without an error.

I have the same excact issue, like to add then when finnaly (after trying to join about 7 times) connection is established,
joiners lose connection mid game

I have the same problem, i tried to connect like 20times and the same error.

i found a partual solution, i downloaded different mods for the function i use the most from create

wireless redstone - gates-1.7.3
large extended pistons - multi-piston-1.18-1.2.2-ALPHA needs: structurize-1.18.1-1.0.319-BETA and blockui-1.18-0.0.34-ALPHA
Automatic crafting - CraftingAutomat-MC1.18.1-1.2.2
distribution and filtering blocks - ImmersiveEngineering-1.18.1-7.0.0-142

now i still mis automatic farming solution and the function to make rotating stuff (but atleast the most needed function are back for me)

ill hope create mod will be fixed soon but if not i can at least enjoy minecraft a bit like i used to

I discovered this problem when using Crafting Automat: link, then posted this issue at Forge's github because it seemed like it was forge that's doing it: link. They said it's a mod problem instead of a forge problem and to post it here, but like the author of Crafting Automat said, they're claiming it's not them, yet this problem didn't start affecting multiple mods until Forge for 1.18.1 released.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem?
And it’s not forge, all the other mods work fine

The author of Crafting Automat got theirs fixed in the latest alpha version, so they might know the solution. I don't know if this info helps, but in Crafting Automat's configuration I had to set "syncronizeTickSettings" to false.

it looks like their fix was to just not send their packets, so probably not useful in our case.

This same problem also seems to happen with Pokecube's networking on lan as well...

There was a new update to flywheel and create recently but that update had us crashing when adding belts.... it's rather destressing.

my friend and I are running a LAN server over hamachi and got this same issue. He's able to join for a split second but gets kicked with this error unfortunately

Updating to Forge 39.0.60 or higher will fix this issue.
