Sticker block 'fails' to activate and crashes game when moved

Describe the Bug
When activating a sticker block, neither the animation nor noise plays, and the block does not change its state (from not extended to extended). The red 'indicator light' on the block lights up, so the block is receiving the signal. When the block is moved (via create's piston), the game crashes.
The world can be loaded again to find the sticker moved (one block), and in the extended state. Redstone will not change its state. Moving it again crashes the game.
'Activating' the block twice, and then moving it will not cause a crash. Other contraptions (not using stickers) do not cause crashes.
Reproduction Steps
- Place down a sticker, a button on the sticker, and a block in front.
- Press the button.
- Observe that the sticker's light lights up, and that the animation does not play.
- Move the sticker via piston.
- Observe that the game crashes.
Expected Result
For the sticker animation to play, for the block state to change (from not extended to extended), and for the sticker to move.
