One of the redstone links in my elevator keeps its frequency but the other doesn't.

ooooh this would explain why i lose my frequency pieces on only one link on my rotating structure that has 3 other links that rotate... only that link is sending signal causing the movement... if i add a toggle i think i will be fine!

I guess, just to add to this, I was testing this for half an hour and couldn't replicate it. If you can make a schematic out of it (or a world save without other mods) that would be helpful.

I got the frequency item disappearing when I was causing a link to move by it being turned on. When it turned off because it started moving (this is a separate issue), it stopped the piston moving it, all being processed in an instant (the link was moved but placed back instantly). I think this caused the unexpected behaviour.

I know some components loose their configs when assembled and disassembled from contraptions, like sequenced gearshifts. However, i can't reproduce this with links being poered or unpowered. If you have this issue on a more recent version (ideally with a way of reproduction) please reopen
