Describe the Bug

When looking at a multiblock in motion with shaders and optifine, the rendering (order?) breaks and you can see many objects through the world.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Install Create mod
  2. Install Optifine
  3. Install any shaderpack
  4. Build a windmill
  5. Look at the spinning windmill parts

Expected Result

Should be rendered as expected

Screenshots and Videos

I can confirm the issue and have some additional information.

First here is an image (Shader is SEUS PTGI HRR Test 2.1, but I encountered the same issue with Sildurs Vibrant Extreme -Volumetrics 1.32 and Continuum 2.0.4)

And here is what it is supposed to look like.

Secondly the game crashes when changing Shaders or turning them off, except in the main menu when changing shaders but it still crashes if you disable them completely and try to load a world afterwards after already having enabled a shader once without restarting.

Thirdly the rendering still broke for me in the exact same way with all shaders disabled but disabling the flywheel backend and restarting fixed it for regular optifine.

Lastly the issue persisted between optifine versions (OptiFine_1.18.1_HD_U_H4 and H5_pre4)

I personally run on Manjaro with Kernel 5.15.12-1
I have 32GB of RAM (12 allocated for Minecraft which it never even comes close to reaching), a Ryzen 7 3700x and a RTX 2080TI with the NVIDIA Driver Version 495.44

Hope this helps

The Flywheel backend can be disabled using the /flywheel backend off command

Also experiencing this issue. You said that disabling flywheel (which I'm not sure how to do) fixed the issue while not using shaders?

I was having similar visual glitches when using shaders with rotating blocks like a waterwheel. I am using create 1.18.1_v0.4c with OptiFine_1.18.1_HD_U_H4. I was able to fix the visual glitch by disabling the flywheel backend as suggested here.

The visual glitches (with flywheel backend on) only occured when I was playing on my own personal server, which is a forge 39.0 server hosted on a windows 10 machine on an Azure VM with 3 gig of ram.

When playing singleplayer, I didn't get visual glitches even with flywheel backend turned on.
