it appear that all wheels have this strange looking texture or absolutely no texture

i've just installed some mod and freshly start to construct

i just expected to have normal cogwheel

Try removing optifine. I removed it and everything is working fine now

I have seen this happen with both of the latest versions installed. A quick fix is to disable optifine, but for various reasons, it is not the best solution.

I will add that this seems to happen with other items, such as the Hand Crank and Shafts.

Does this issue still happen with the most recent versions of Create and Flywheel?

for me the new update for create and flywheel posted 8h ago resolved the problem

nevermind i reinstall optifine and it goes with does creepy tecture once more
