Speed or Haste should cause the player to turn the crank/handle faster, while Strength should increase the stress capacity output. Opposite effects could have... the opposite effect. Slowness or Mining Fatigue causes slower rotational speed, and Weakness could decrease the stress capacity.

This has the potential to do confusing things, since adding speed without adding stress capacity can turn a working setup into an over-capacity setup.
