Describe the Bug

This bug is on your newest version and will kill any world forever! All progress/machines gone and the world closed off.

Reproduction Steps

1. place power source.
2. attach a gearbox.
3. Then attach a mechanical harvester.
   ...

Expected Result

It will crash the world so hard anytime you load back into it it crashes. Bam your world deleted forever.

Thank you so much, PepperCode1! I had this issue and rolling my profile back to 39.0.44 fixed it. World is no longer rendering oddly or crashing and I can place new harvesters with no issues. Hurrah!

(Thanks also to Flaxicon for the tip about Amulet - I downloaded that just in case for the future.)

Downgrade Forge to 39.0.44 or lower. This will be fixed next patch.

Also its just placing the harvester, it broke my world too, so i tired just placing it on sand in a test world, and test world died.

I recovered my world using amulet world editor, hope that helps

I am having the absolute same issue with multiple create blocks, including the schematicannon.
