Worm gears

Describe the Suggestion
Many times I have wanted to connect two small gears at an angle (or a small gear and a component with a built in gear, like a pump or a mixer), or connect a sideways gear to a perpendicular shaft. These would be perfect opportunities for a worm gear.

The vertical gear here would be a worm gear, connecting the shaft to both horizontal gears.
A diagram of a real worm gear. Though I imagine it would be wider to better fill the block space and fit with a normal gear, as putting it on a large gear would be far less useful.
