Linked controller doesn't like mouse buttons

Describe the Bug
If I bind any linked controller key to any mouse button, then the linked controller refuses to press the button associated with the changed key.
Reproduction Steps
- set a linked controller keybind to a mouse button
- try to use that keybind to move with the linked controller, or use non-gui linking
- it doesnt work
Expected Result
the button is pressed at all
