Superglue not working in all situations

Describe the Bug
Attempting to use superglue with (sticky) pistons results in glue being stripped away and glued blocks not moving.
Reproduction Steps
- Place (sticky) piston,
- Place any in front of piston,
- Apply glue anywhere on block,
- Trigger piston,
- Observe the missing glue.
Optionally,
- Add a block on the glue side before triggering the piston,
- Observe the extra block not moving when the piston fires.
Expected Result
- Glue doesn't vanish,
- Glued blocks move in unison.

Additional Context
Brackets used within sticky pistons due to this happening with both stickies and normals.
