Describe the Bug

The mechanical arm will connect to the depot, but will never connect to a funnel and instead it will place a mechanical arm on the funnel.

Reproduction Steps

1.Place conveyor running to a depot
2.Connect depot to mechanical arm
3.Get chest with brass funnel on top and try to connect the arm to it
...

Expected Result

I expected it to connect after at least 2 tries, nope, would not work. i set up a 10x10 grid, none worked.

I've had this issue before, then realized that funnels have two modes, intake and output. Right click with a wrench to switch it.

Well it definitely happens with the mechanical crafters in 1.16.5

works just fine for me on 1.18.2, Create 0.4.1

I will close this report. Reopen if it should persist, ideally with a foolproof instruction on how to reproduce this bug.
And as @CamIsHereRN mentioned, make sure the funnel is pointing the right way, indicated by the little arrow on its side
