Create blocks do not render with Rubidium installed.

Describe the Bug

Hello, on the 1.18.2 build, Create blocks do not render with Rubidium (a forge Sodium port) and Oculus (an Iris port) also installed. Some items do appear, but actually placed blocks do not. /flywheel backend off does also not solve this issue. This issue is gone if only Rubidium is installed and not Oculus with Create and Flywheel.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Install Create, Flywheel, Oculus, and Rubidium.
  2. Place Create cog-wheel or similar block down.
  3. Block outlines render under selection but actual block does not.
    ...

Expected Result

Block is rendered.

Rubidium is discontinued, try using embeddium instead. If this still occurs with embeddium make a new issue.

I can attest the same issue, I was playing on a server with some other mods, but I can confirm that this issue also occurs with only these mods installed. The logs are from my time on the server Minecraft 1.18.2 Forge 40.0.52 Create 0.4.1 Flywheel 0.6.2 Rubidium 0.5.2a latest.log

Hi @PenumbraStar, with the logs provided it does seem like you have Oculus installed, namely oculus-mc1.18.2-1.2.2b.jar. With only Rubidium, these issues do not appear.

With regards to the issue at whole, the Rubidium & Oculus developer is not aware of what is causing the issue. They have no idea. Our only hope is for Create/Flywheel devs to implement some sort of compact like they did for Optifine Shaders.

I opened an issue with the Flywheel repository but have not heard from the dev. Engine-Room/Flywheel#117

For clarity's sake, this issue is also present in the 1.16.5 version of Create and Oculus, although with a slightly different effect when backend rendering is enabled: Jozufozu/Flywheel/issues/115

Sorry about not getting back sooner, really hoping this can be fixed. Create is by far my favorite mod, possibly ever made for minecraft, the work and care you guys put into it is beyond even big game dev studios, I just would love to have the ridiculous performance boost of rubidium, in addition Create! If there is anything I can do to help out, just let me know!

+1 from me here, everything is fine if Oculus is not in the modlist, can't wait for this to be fixed, you got this devs!

Oculus states that they will be supporting only the most recent modded version of minecraft, so no backports. Sorry man, I feel you though, I'm waiting on all the 1.18.1 mods to update.

Hi, just saw Oculus had an update, changelog says they fixed it and lo and behold!

Unfortunately I'm still at 1.18.1 and I think oculus is not getting backports fixes....
