Describe the Bug

The hose pully starts to pump water but the water doesn't disappear.It works at the begining but then for no reason it stops working.

Reproduction Steps

1.Fill a big area with water
2.start pumping
3.
...

Expected Result

The pumping particles are there but the water doesn't disappear.

Is the area the pulley is pumping from larger or smaller than 10,000 blocks?

Larger

If it's larger, the mod treats it as if it's infinite, so you won't get anywhere.

This is intended behavior. Draining large bodies of fluids would a) lag and b) ruin the landscape of nether or overworld, so by default large bodies of water and lava won't get fluid sources removed if above the threshold You can disable this in the configs (see image).
