Bulk blasting seems to stop working after a bit

Describe the Bug
I've built a bulk blaster that has a 3x3 of depots with encased fans and lava on all four sides and below the depots, all blowing onto the depots. I put about 15 stacks of sand in the chest and the mechanical arms place it on the depots. It blasted the majority of them, however it seems to have stopped working after a while. There is sand sitting on several of the depots and the blasting particles are coming off the sand, however they never actually turn into glass. When I manually remove them from the depot and put them back into the chest for the mechanical arm, it looks like two stacks get blasted and the rest just sit there again.
Reproduction Steps
- Build the bulk blasting setup as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K33TpfQVh5o
- Put ~15 stacks of sand in the input chest
- The majority gets blasted, but about 6 stacks are left unblasted and continue to sit on the depot

Expected Result
The sand to turn into glass and removed from the depots.
