Schematicannon doesn't work with chisels and bits 1.18.2

Describe the Bug

When i put the book in the schematicannon the server crashes, and i had to mcedit the world to remove it. I figured out it was chisels and bits and when i removed them and remade the schematic everything worked.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Get a schematic with chisels and bits in it
  2. Place in the schematicannon
  3. Place a book
  4. World is gone

Expected Result

no crash :)

Hey there! This shouldn't happen with 1.19 or at least I couldn't make it crash with 1.19.2 as the schematic ignored all c&b blocks. But back then I used the Amulet editor. It's basically MCEdit for newer Minecraft versions. I removed the schematicannon with it and my world worked again. I hope you'll be able to make it work good luck!

Hi! I know it has been more than a year but I'm having the same issue. How did you recover the world? I made a true to life copy of my dream car using Chisels and Bits and upon trying to copy it with a schematicannon the game crashed...
