Describe the Bug
Extending a belt seems to make other sections of the belt non-attachable for items falling onto them

Reproduction Steps

1. place belt and get it moving.
2. extend belt by using a spare belt in hand.
3. have something fall onto the belt.

Expected Result:
The items should remain there. At one point placing a shaft in the belt showed the desynch. leaving that one section as if it was still. Repeatability semi common. does not always seem to have this effect but often enough to be a problem.

Additional Context:
Working on a one chunk build for Productive bees from hive to item. Crushing raw ores. the Desynched belt is clearly visible in the image. this can be reproduced by adding a shaft to the belt that is not accepting items. the rest of the line will stop while the line before that point will keep moving.
