I am using create version 0.4.1 and optifine UH7. When the two mods are used together it creates massive visual glitches, but more importantly, it disables the connected textures on create blocks. If I use a shader, the visual glitches seem to disappear, but the connected textures are still not there.

Optifine is a closed source mod, so it is difficult if not impossible to make it compatible with Create. You can try running the command "/flywheel backend off".

Just tried the command and it didn't work, if you have any other ideas do say, but the main reason I made the issue post is to note its happening

Uninstall Optifine.

OK i ended up fixing it by disabling anisotrpic filtering
