With the new update im getting an exit code one error, I open up all the other versions and its fine, is there a specific forge version that I should use?

New version of Minecraft (1.18.2) uses Java 17. You must install Java 17 and use it to install Minecraft Forge.
I resolved this by install Create via CurseForge but in the CurseForge App you must to set in Minecraft Game Specific options (in the left bottom corner) Java version used for installing modloaders as Java 17 and repair your modpack.
