Silver, nickel, aluminium, lead ores (from Immersive Engineering) get ground down and come out as grit. However, gold does not. This makes electrum a little harder to get to.

I've had the same problem, but recipes can be added or changed with datapacks.

There should be specific IE compat in recipes in 0.3. If that somehow doesn't work, reopen.
