Trains taking invalid paths + train launching

Describe the Bug
What occurs is that the train takes an invalid turn to the left (completely ignoring the signal direction) then heads towards the
desired station (also in an invalid direction) and when it hits the station, it rather than stopping either: gets an incredible burst of speed and completely loses control bypassing every signal and station no matter the state and direction (usually ending in the cart derailing), or the train takes a little bit of time to stop after of which it reverses the direction and stops on the station as if it took the normal route.
Reproduction Steps
- Have a inter-dimensional line (as through testing this only appears to occur when inter-dimensional travel occurs).
- Set it so the line is 2-way but has a roundabout that is 1-way and reconnects on the 2-way (as is seen in the previous image).
- Have a station on the roundabout giving the train 2 Options in which only 1 is valid.
- Send the Train through the portal via schedule, then have it return back to the station on the roundabout.
- Be deeply confused as the train completely ignores the roundabout signals and just takes the fastest route to the station (when passing over the station in the wrong direction the train sometimes launches itself for no reason)
Expected Result
What should happen is the train should enter the nether through a portal, take a right turn on the roundabout, wait for the roundabout station line section to be clear before entering, stop at the station, wait for the line that goes to the portal to be clear, then head through the portal again.

No crash but I was running Alex's Mobs, Tinkers Construct, and Storage Drawers, none of which I would assume to be the issue as the main issue appears to be the inter-dimensional travel part.
Additional Context
This issue only seems to occur after the train has traveled interdimensionally and otherwise works normal as long as there is no interdimensional travel involved.
I have the same issue, was making a two-way track in the nether. Solved it by slowing the train so it goes through portal on 10%. This may be caused by train's AI not loading fast enough, so probably you can also just make enough track for train to load while it travels these extra pieces. #3274 - My suggestion to solve this problem and add some additional control of trainflow.
