Unable to use seat or exit controller in assembled train

Describe the Bug
When train is assembled I'm unable to use the seat or exit the train controller with shift. I can still control the train though but I need to use the escape menu to exit the controls. The seat doesn't work at all when assembled.

Expected Result

Did you use the schematic? Because im quite sure they are close enough? The train itself is 20 ish blocks long.

I didn't look at the schematic but I guessed that it's his problem as well, since they have the exactly same "symptoms".
I had the exact same issue. Just tested, and it was remedied by moving the seat and controls closer to the main bogey (the one placed on the train station's attach point on the tracks).
