Make players keep their momentum when they jump

Describe the Suggestion

I have noticed that when you jump on a moving object in create that your momentum is instantly lost and you kind of slide backwards. This also happens when the object bumps you up or when you step up something such as a slab. It kind of feels unnatural to fly backwards extremely fast everytime you jump. The way I discovered this was on the trains and when you are inside and jump the train goes forward at the same rate but you dont move with the train. I think you should add a sort of momentum that stops this from occuring and makes it when you jump you continue with the train for a bit so you could jump of the train and continue forward or something.

I'm not a mod dev or anything but that seems like a lot of work and physics that just aren't possible for Minecraft. It would probably be some janky solution to get working that's extremely buggy. but idk.

The player is already able to stand on contraptions as they move, so maintaining that speed shouldn't be too big of a problem on paper

Oooh, neat, going by the issue being closed as "completed", is this actually implemented now?

I saw this commit maintains the camera rotation, too, which is great - I can't find the commit that adresses this issue, though
