Ambient Water noise disappears when wearing diving boots

Describe the Bug
When wearing the diving boots, there isn't any background ambient water noise. Just silence and footsteps. And when I take off the boots the noise doesn't return. It only works like normal by entering the water without the boots on.
Reproduction Steps
- Put on diving boots
- jump in water
- no background noise
...
Expected Result
no background noise when wearing the boots
