Cross-dimension train travel results in mis-navigation

Describe the Bug

If the conditions are right, a train will choose the wrong train track to navigate to a specified station resulting in issues.

Reproduction Steps

I have here a bend in the track, with a station going forwards. The train you see in the picture, controlled by a sheep, was supposed to navigate towards the station (marked with 1.).

Before this bend in the track is a nether portal beyond the view in the screenshot.

When I send the train with a sheep from the nether to the overworld, it'll get to this track and not go forwards, but turn towards the track marked with (2.). This is obviously wrong.

Expected Result

The train should evidently go to station 1.

I'm also facing this exact problem. I had a straight line coming out of a portal as the intended route and a junction going left (portal is two-way for returns, then it split off into two one-way rails). The train refused to drive straight unless i was controlling it manually.
Then i made it so there's enough room for the whole first car (loco) and i put the junction away from the portal onto a curve. I also put slowing stations right before the portal on both sides and changed the speed to 5%. I rode the train and even though it took the train solid 15 seconds to get through the portal and to the junction, it still went left into the wrong way.

yeah got that too and if i change the order, it decides that now it likes to go straight even tough it did before go left.
So TLDR Junktion dont like portal so if a train comes out of a portal there has to be atleast 2 chunks disntant or even more wich kinda defeats the purpose of the possebility to run it trough the nether(shortens the travel by a lot)

One temporary workaround is to have a station right after going out of the nether, before the junction
