I cant place perpendicular cogwells without a block to support it and vertical gearboxs dont transfer rotation to vertical shafts

Describe the Bug

I just cant place cogwheels in mid air using the assisted placement that comes with the mod, i need to manually place a block to connect the cogwheels. The thing with the shafts is that vertical shafts connected to a vertical gearbox just dont rotate, they just get placed like a regular block

Expected Result

The cogwheel shouldnt be placed on top of the other one and the shaft should rotate at the same speed as the vertical gearbox
