So what's the "official" team doing?

The official team is developing the Forge version of Create.

They are going to merge it at some point, but if you’re that impatient you can get the mod from there i guess

So what does it mean? "without affiliation to Create(-Fabric) team"

Without affiliation to Create-forge, or both forge and fabric?

I read it as both forge AND fabric. So if that's true it means there's no info about what is happening to "fabricators of Create" side of things, who have ported Create to fabric up to this point.
