I been having this problem in 1.18.2 for a while. I have create 1.18.2-0.5.0.e, flywheel-forge-1.18.2-0.6.5, and optifine 1.18.2 HD U H6. when i click create new world it loads to 0% then the game closes and says this: The game crashed whilst exception in server tick loop
Error: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'void net.minecraft.server.level.DistanceManager.addRegionTicket(net.minecraft.server.level.TicketType, net.minecraft.world.level.ChunkPos, int, java.lang.Object, boolean)'
Someone please tell me for why this is happening and how i can fix it.

Result: Resorting to other mods as OptiFine substitute.

Please atach the whole log file and the crash report

Remove or update optifine, as it removes a critical piece of Minecraft's code

i kind of need optifine for something else to function

Then update it the latest for 1.18.2. I'm fairly sure that fixes this issue

i changed it to H7 and nothing changed

You need H8 or H9 pre-1

i used pre1 and now it just wont start
