Describe the Bug

When adjustable chain gearshifts are powered and connected in a certain way, the game crashes.
Upon reloading the world, the game crashes again.

Reproduction Steps

1. Place two chain gearshifts next to each other, facing either east or west.
2. Power them using a lever in a specific place.

Expected Result

Both gearshifts rotate at the same speed.

Three gearshifts are used here, but it can be reproduced it with only the back two.

Gearshifts placed like above. Powering them with a lever here does not crash.

If this lever is pulled, the game will crash.

This doesn't crash somehow.

Still requires an extra block of space to crash with only two gearshifts.
