World becomes corrupted when trying to pull a belt down as a contraption.

Describe the Bug

I was trying to make a storage system with belts that move up and down using mechanical pistons, it works fine pushing it up, but when trying to pull it down it corrups my world. I had to dive into the files and delete the entity to restore my world.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Make a belt going into a chest
  2. Put vertical gearboxes next to the belt so it'll rotate when pushed up
  3. Glue the belt
  4. Glue the Andesite funnel to the belt
  5. Push the belt up a few blocks using a mechanical piston
  6. Pull it down
  7. Crash
    ...

Expected Result

I was expecting to pull the belt down
