What about the chest is bugged?
just check the other three reports on the same problem
the solution is typing "/flywheel backend off" command in the chat. it seems like flywheel is the one who causes the problem, actually. i feel like turning it off by this command may backfire in some sorts later in the game, but at least it fixes chests, trapped chests, ender chests, shulker boxes and bells.
Glad to know it's not just me who has this issue
it appears to be the lower part of the chest model (the main body not including the lid) has it's texture squished into as small as possible
that would explain the Z-clipping with blocks below
Turning it to batching also fixes the issue without the potential side effects of it being turned off entirely
