as the title says i feel like the water wheels right now are fine if you just want power but if you wanted to have like a house with a waterwheel on the side as you see in fantasy type stuff there a little small you could make one that looks like one but it doesn't give power and I think maybe the mechanical bearing with wood touching running water would be like the windmill.

it would be possible to make multiblock watter wheels with about the same code as the windmill to my knowledge,Just would need to be changed to use watter instead of open air.

I've been playing with some ideas where I build a windmill but dress it up to look like a waterwheel. I haven't made something I'm happy with yet but I feel like there's some potential there as a workaround for now.

Definitely count me in as someone who'd love to have some official larger waterwheel options, either as contraptions or as individual items.
