Describe the Suggestion
Mechanical saws that face downwards into a belt should be able to process items that pass under them on the belt, similar to how you can automate them using upwards facing saws and multiple belts. The blade of the saw is the right height over the belt for it to make sense, and depending on your belt setup it could allow for more compact contraptions.
Screenshots and Videos
This screenshot shows an example of how it could work. Items passing under the saw on the belt would be processed.
