Describe the Bug

In Minecraft when i try to apply a block or item to a filter slot, it doesn't add it to the filter. if its a block it just places the block in front of the filter instead. this issue is present on seemingly every block with a filter slot. I've restarted my game, restarted my computer, tried it in a different world, and nothing worked. i looked around for solutions but it seems like I'm the only one having this issue so I'm not sure what's causing it. I also know its not a visual thing as placing the funnel on a chest, applying the filter, and then placing a different item inside it still leads to the item falling out.

Reproduction Steps

I'm not sure how to reproduce it, all i know is that at one point it worked but it doesn't anymore.

Expected Result

I expected to apply a chocolate filter onto a pipe from my chocolate mixer, but instead it just said "Applied filter to Smart Fluid Pipe" and pumped milk into the tank anyways.

Additional Context

i have a modded server with my friend and it worked before, the only difference now would be i added a few extra mods for single player and may have changed my forge version on accident. I downloaded the world and tested it there. The already existing applied filter slots are still there and seemingly function fine, but I still can't apply the filters on new or existing blocks.

The issue was more player models, but the weird thing is it worked before im not sure why it's different now.
