Does it need a vanilla world type to generate ores or could it work with Biomes O'Plenty world type?

Describe the Suggestion
It's really not a suggestion but there's no question label. I want to know if I change the world type to some modded world type (Ex: Biomes O'Plenty wolrd type) it won't generate the ores that create needs for survival gameplay.
