Lag when looking at multiple Carriage Contraptions while using Shaders
MoRoN222 opened this issue · 5 comments
Describe the Bug
When I play the game normally, I experience an average framerate at around 50 FPS. However, when I have multiple Carriage Contraptions on my screen, the framerate drops to around 20 FPS. The Shader I am using is Complementary Shaders v4.6 (using Oculus instead of OptiFine).
Reproduction Steps
- Start Minecraft using Complementary Shaders (with Oculus)
- Make a world, build a train, assemble it
- See framerate dropping when looking at it
Expected Result
Keeping the same/a similar framerate when looking at trains

Oculus isn't compatible with Flywheel, Create's integrated optimisation mod. When you try to load shaders using Iris/Oculus, Flywheel is disabled and you loose its performance benefits. That's expected.
You can try using Iris Flywheel Compat but this isn't officially supported.

Thank you, I'll try that later!
