slime ball dough glitch

Describe the Bug
the recipe for making slimeballs doesn't work and so i am unable to easily make superglue
Reproduction Steps
i dont know how to recreate it as it keeps happening no matter what i try
Expected Result
all i expect is a look into the mod and seeing if anything can be done to fix it
