Additional Context
This bug still exists when only Create, Rubidium and Oculus are installed.
I have the same problem. It is the same for all shaders I have tried.
Is this a problem in Create or in Iris/Oculus?
I haven't even thought about trying other shaders. But I think it's a problem in general.

Create 0.5.1f
Minecraft 1.19.2
Forge 43.3.5
I've tried as many of the top shaders as I could find and confirmed this issue with literally all of them. All shaders tested are newest at the time of this comment.
Shaders tested using Oculus (Forge) and Oculus Flywheel Compat.
Could potentially try adding an emissive map to the Nixie Tube texture? Or having the colour be determined by the texture itself and use block states as a fall back.

It seems to be most likely affected by the shaders themselves rather than being the Create's side of things.

From looking at how the Nixie tube's "glow" is implemented in the code, as well as the support that Create provides to be able to override it in a resource pack, its implementation I'd consider is rather incompatible and doesn't play nice with the established means - so I would like to see this change if possible. It also might be a feature/bug/issue with Flywheel but I'm not sure if that's a separate repository?
@Mineplayerminer I am not sure whether you are a developer at Create or not?
Interpreting your answers becomes very different depending on whether they should be taken as official responses or not.
@cshcrafter the problem have somehow been solved along the way, at least for 1.20.1.
In 1.19.2 (at least) the problem still exists.
(bug still present)
Minecraft 1.19.2
Forge 43.4.2 (latest)
Oculus 1.6.9
Create 1.19.2-0.5.1.f
ComplementaryReimagined 5.2.2
(bug not present)
Minecraft 1.20.1
Forge 47.3.5
Oculus 1.7.0
Create 1.20.1-0.5.1.f
ComplementaryReimagined 5.2.2
As I imagine the only difference between Create 1.19.2-0.5.1.f and Create 1.20.1-0.5.1.f is the compilation target - and the code being otherwise the same, it seems to be an Iris/Oculus bug/missing feature.
Maybe others still suffer in earlier version, but I am on my way to 1.20.1 and for that context the problem is solved.
